The 1st “Suntech Cup” Solar Cells and PV Power Paper Contest

In order to present awards to those distinguished academic personages and entrepreneurs who have contributed to the development of solar and PV industry, promote the standardization and specialization level of “SNEC 2nd (2008) International Solar and PV Conference”, as the organizers, Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, CREIA, Development and Exchange Center of Science and Technology of Shanghai Municipality, Shanghai New Energy Industry Association and the editorial committee of Shanghai New Energy, will carry out “the 1st ‘Suntech Cup’ Solar Cells and PV Power Paper Contest” and Non-governmental Awards for Science and Technology established by National Office for Science & Technology Awards during “SNEC 2nd (2008) International Solar and PV Conference”, so as to display the professional qualities and technical levels of global PV experts, further promote the technology and application exchanges between Chinese and overseas enterprises and enhance the study, application and innovation of PV industry.
The 1st “Suntech Cup” Solar Cells and PV Power Paper Contest has been started since September 2007.Professor Martin Green, the global authority in solar cells and the Alternative Nobel Prize winner in 2002 will once again come to Shanghai to award the certificates and prizes to the contest winners.
The winners will also be preferentially invited to deliver speeches in the “SNEC 2nd (2008) International Solar and PV Conference". And their papers will be published by Shanghai Science and Technology Press.
