The Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Development and Reform Commission announced On November 13 that, China has launched an International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Plan on Renewable and New Energy, which highlights 6 key tasks such as conducting preliminary research and establishing industrialization demonstration, etc, in 5 priority fields including BIPV, biomass fuels and biomass power generation and so on.

Chinese solar market grows steadily at an annual rate of 20%-30%, double that of Europe, and quadruple that of North America, making itself the biggest solar application market in the world.
