Solar Power Professor Zhao Chunjiang

Zhao Chunjiang, director of China Renewable Energy Society, director of China Energy Society and engineering Doctor of Japan KITAMI Institute of Technology once worked as researcher in solar cell development lab in KYOCERA Japan , in solar power research institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and in solar research institute of Shanghai University of Electric Power. And he once took part in the research of solar cell with PECVD deposition technique equipment and that of solar stratospheric platform project. He finished many monographs including Manual for Solar Enterpriser (World Bank project).Series of Practical Guide to Solar Operation Technology and Solar PV Grid-connected system and he has gained many national patents and won the Ya Tian Award (the highest academic award given by Japan solar association) twice.

In recent years, he was devoted into the application of such technologies as building-integrated photovoltaic, electricity control of grid-connection and micro-connection. And he has finished the construction of such projects as Multi-functional Plastic Shell with photovoltaic power supply of the World Bank project, 200kw grid-connection PV power generation of the Shanghai Electricity Lingang complex building and 300 kw PV power generation system of Zhejiang grid company. He designed and built the first national grid type photovoltaic---noise barrier generating system in the elevated highways, the first national grid type photovoltaic generating system used on family rooftops and household micro intelligent control phosgene complementary power supply system etc.

Zhao Chunjiang spends lots of time and efforts in cultivating talents for the PV new energy. Apart from giving lectures in Shanghai University of Electric Power and leading his students to carry on practice about PV, he also voluntarily goes to the society to popularize PV scientific knowledge. Moreover, he was invited to Hainan to examine the utilization of solar power, left his footprint in Zengmu Reef and offered precious advice to relevant departments.

This part is a video about the medium and small sized photoelectric projects, which are designed and constructed under his leadership and will popularize scientific concepts and knowledge and demonstrate practical usage.
